Once the house is spotless, what to do with all those Roombas scooting around aimlessly? You can corral them into a virtual maze and teach them to play the arcade classic Pac-Man. The main character sweeps up little paper “dots” as it runs the maze, controlled by a remote operator. The “ghosts” know to avoid each other, and run away when the Pac-Man has eaten one of the “power pellets”. Pretty frivolous, to be sure, but this is actually a demo for the group’s Unmanned Aerial System, used to guide airborne vehicles.
