Star-Spangled Jimi

Just because it feels like a good day to honour an artist who transcended his craft, but left us too soon. Here’s Jimi Hendrix greeting the sunrise at Woodstock in 1969 with a mind-warping version of the Star-Spangled Banner. Check out the abuse he puts on those strings.
