On January 24^th, 1984, Steve Jobs gave the first public demonstration of the Apple Macintosh. Obviously it looks very primitive now, but I remember how awesome it was to see and use one for the first time. Even back then, Jobs knew how to put on a show, and the crowd adored him like a rock star.
