E-Motion Danse Academie celebrates its first Christmas at its new location on William Street. Lots of food and drink, many dance exhibitions, and visits from other dancers around the city made this a hopping and energetic party.

I got the chance to check out this first-time DanceSport competition in the Quebec City region. The event was rather small, and was held in a school gymnasium, so it had a very casual feel.

 Now in its second year, this competition has moved from the suburbs to the heart of downtown Montreal. Although still a compact one-day event, it seems poised to become an important event on the DanceSport calendar.
