In what has become an eagerly-anticipated year-end tradition, DJ Earworm collects the year’s top 25 hits according to Billboard and weaves them into a catchy über-tune.

What a great, great find this is! The incomparable DJ Earworm weaves together four songs about togetherness into a sweet and dreamy tapestry.

The United State Of Pop 2008 is a video mashup “Wikipedia entry”) of the top 25 songs of 2008, according to Billboard. This video is better than most of those for the original songs.
DJ Earworm:
This year in the charts, we’ve gone all soft. The songs are sexy and defiant, less macho than in previous years. Accordingly, I’ve selected Coldplay as the instrumental track, giving the whole year a sort of symphonic feel. This edit is called “Viva La Pop”, and I hope to post more edits soon.
